This kit is designed for those on a budget, and/or those who have limited space to workout. It is also a great addition to the Silver Pilates Kit, and even the Gold Pilates Kit if you would like to add even more variety to your routine.
Bronze Kit Suggestions:
You can add or take away from these tools-- these accessories are merely suggestions for your home practice.
Items can be found at Merrithew Fitness or at most Wal-Marts, Targets, and Fitness stores
If you are wanting to do Fitness OnLive from your computer or tablet, you are going to want some workout equipment.
If you already have some at home, awesome! If not, we have put together some basic kits to get you started.
Remember that Fit Kits are completely optional and not a required part of your program :-).
This Pilates kit is for those who have mastered the mat, who want more variety, or who are feeling adventurous!
All you need is the Pilates Stick basic kit package; the package includes:
•(1) Wood Original Pilatesstick®
•(1) Pilatesstick® Mat
•(2) Pro Foot Straps
•(1) Slastix Pro Resistance Tubing
•(1) Foam Safety Door Anchor
•(1) Stylish Pilatesstick® Bag
•(1) Challenging 12 Poster
You can also add the Bronze Pilates Kit to this one to add more toys to your practice :-).
You don't have to choose one over the other!
This is the granddaddy of all-- purchasing an at-home reformer. Not all reformers are created equal, so do your research and choose the one that best fits your needs.
You want to purchase a reformer with additional accessories, such as the long box, maple pole, and platform extender.
There are other fun toys like the Cardio Tramp-- the possibilities are endless! Just make sure that you are going to use what you buy!
I recommend the Stott Pilates home reformers; they can be purchased at Merrithew Fitness and Costco.
The Bronze Fitness Kit is the basic of the three kits; it is a great starter package that you can keep as a stand-alone kit, add to the Silver and/or Gold Fitness kit, and/or keep adding more toys of your choice if you so wish. It's your kit-- you decide!
Some suggestions would include:
Exercise bands of different resistances
Items can be purchased at Power Systems website or some pieces can be bought at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.
If you are a strong intermediate or more advanced client, we highly recommend the TRX suspension system.
Not only is it lightweight, but it's portable, versatile, and easy to use.
The fact that it uses strictly your body weight ensures that you get a great core workout and don't have to lug around a bunch of equipment if you workout on the go.
For those that need more than exercise bands to sculpt their muscles, look no further than the classic bench, dumbbells, and Bosu balance trainer.
If you want to save space, you can upgrade to the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells (pictured above), but any dumbbells will do the job :-).
You can purchase a bench, dumbbells, and Bosu just about anywhere; if you want the SelectTech dumbbells, they can be found here.
